Ustadh Mohammed Tahair is a teacher of Arabic & Quranic studies. He's the founder of QuranBound and has been involved in teaching and community work for over a decade. He spent over 5 years studying the traditional Islamic sciences in Cairo, Egypt under the supervision of senior scholars.
He holds Ijazaat in the 7 modes of recitation from Sh. Ali Abdul-Tawwab & Sh. Ahmed Al-Ashoor (Al-Azhar) and formally studied the Arabic Language & its sciences with several teachers such as Ustadh Emad al-Adawy, Ustadh Mahmud Sha'baan, Ustadh Mohammed Kuraim and Ustadh Amir Mas'ud to name a few.
He served as the Head of Arabic at an independent private school where he designed and delivered their entire Arabic Syllabus. He has also carefully created the ATTQ Programme which has been taught successfully to more than 700 students over the last 6 years.
He is also a respected community leader and activist. Since 2010, he has been deeply involved in grassroots development for young Muslims, delivering a wide range of projects designed to uplift, educate, and empower young people across the country.
